Why We Partnered with Watch Me Swim

Watch Me Swim awards turn invisible progress into something kids can hold. Some kids just need something to work toward — these are that something. They're the same celebration system we point families to inside Swim Lessons in a Box, because recognizing progress is how young swimmers keep going.

The problem

Swim progress is invisible to a kid.

A back float doesn't feel like a trophy — until there's an actual award for it. Motivation drops between skills; awards bridge the gap.

The Watch Me team saw it over years in the water: every swim scheme has key stages swimmers have to reach, with few awards to celebrate along the way. These awards keep swimmers focused with small, achievable steps inside each stage — new targets to aim for, and real enthusiasm to keep swimming.

About Watch Me Swim

Watch Me Awards was created in the UK by people who have spent many years in swimming and para-swimming. Their aim: a fully inclusive awards scheme for all ages, all abilities, and every stage of learning — awards you can personalize to fit whatever swim program your child is in, with no disruption or awkward changeovers. Learning to swim is a challenging, basic life skill; their philosophy is to make the journey as fun, engaging, and motivating as possible by celebrating every success.
