You can Teach your child to swim
FAQs
How much time will this take?
This box is designed for busy parents and families. There are 24 lessons total, and each lesson takes about 15 minutes to complete. The video tutorials are 1–5 minutes long.
You don’t have to do formal lessons every time you go to the pool — teaching small skills and allowing for play is the best way to succeed.
How long until my child learns to swim?
Each level takes me about two weeks to complete with my own students.
I’ve broken it up for you in a way that’s easy to follow. Ideally, completing one level within four weeks is recommended, but you can absolutely go at your own pace. The more your child swims, the faster they’ll learn.
What age should my child start? Can we begin earlier?
Age 3 is recommended. Swimming with Confidence focuses on building internal confidence within a child. This method works best when kids are around 3 years old and able to follow instructions.
Instead of focusing on just skill repetition, we focus on fun, critical thinking, and water safety decisions that make sense for this age group.
If you are interested in swimming skills for younger kids, check out Parent-Led Swim Skills for Ages 0-2 Laminated Cards.
Do I need to get in the water with my child?
Yes. These skills are designed to help you bond with your child while teaching real swimming techniques.
Level 1 is all about assisted skills, so it’s important for a parent or adult to be in the water. By the end of Level 2, your child should be an independent and safe swimmer — you’ll get to participate by watching from the side.
How often should we go to the pool?
It’s best to go to the pool 2–3 times a week if you’re actively working on the lessons. However, you can take your time and practice the skills as often as you go.
If you only swim a few times a month, progress may be slower — but once your child learns the skills, they’ll naturally start practicing them every time you swim.
Do I need a box for each child?
No. The box is designed for families and can be used with multiple children. Only one box is needed per family.
What skills will my child learn?
There are 16 swimming skills covered across two levels. Kids will learn the foundations of USA Swimming — like bubble blowing for breath control, streamline, proper kicking, and basic freestyle.
Water safety skills are also taught so kids become strong and confident in their ability to swim and protect themselves in the water.
How is this different from traditional swim lessons?
This box was designed for families where traditional swim lessons aren’t working —busy schedules, water anxiety, lack of access, slow progress, or disabilities.
The Swim Lessons in a Box includes a customizable lesson format for each family’s needs, helping kids progress faster while keeping lessons fun and low-pressure.
Is this an online course?
Nope — not even close.
You’ll have short video tutorials, but this is a hands-on learning experience for parents who want to teach their kids how to swim.
With matching flashcards, laminated lesson plans, and easy access to video tutorials, you can learn everything you need and apply it right at the pool.
It’s one-of-a-kind and gives your family all the tools, toys, and confidence-building activities for a real-world swimming experience.
Why does it cost $199?
It’s cheaper than most group lessons for two levels— and significantly cheaper than private swim lessons, especially when used for multiple kids.
The box includes expensive waterproof flashcards, video tutorials, two fun levels of swim lessons, personal help through the Facebook group, and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
You could save thousands of dollars by investing in this one box. Many families even sell or gift it afterward to make the most of their investment.
