Great way to get parents and child synchronized with swimming. These simple building block techniques are just the guidance we need to help our children who are not yet swimming and ready to start. I really appreciate the focus on individual safety for the child to learn so as they begin to brave the water they feel secure. This is going to make teaching our toddler, and the one on the way, so much more productive than I have done it in the past. Much better than just hoping my kids will figure the swimming thing. Worth the investment for my children’s sake.
I have taken my kids swimming from a very young age, but I never had access to this kind of information on these skills for water safety. While I was careful to teach water safety skills, I spent a lot of time monitoring the kiddos for safety. Having these skills in one document, along with the awesome videos to supplement them, really takes the guess-work out of teaching safety in water to young kids. When our kids feel safe in the water, they have the freedom to explore and build their confidence in the water, without being afraid.
I highly recommend buying this if you have small kids! You won't be disappointed!
I have put seven kids through swim lessons and swim team. This starter course is something that I wish I had years ago. Getting kids into the water when they are young is crucial, but it can be difficult sometimes. These simple techniques really prepare those youngsters for a lifetime of fun in the water.
It is essential to know water safety before going into the pool skills and knowledge we need to know in our everyday life
